A: The website migration service that we are offering is free (within a certain limit). We will move your site(s) to our top–of–the–line cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from personal experience that changing hosting providers can result in lost information and undesired network downtime. For this reason, we’ll perform all that for you at no cost!We’ve got highly knowledgeable administrators whose only task is to ensure that your web site performs exactly as it did on your old web hosting platform. Our administrators are experts in transferring custom–built sites, as well as sites that are based upon famous scripts such as WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: While we can’t give you an exact time frame, because there are many factors, among them the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our best to move your web site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (if the content is not large).

A: We do not require any personal data. We’ll require, though, the login info for your present web hosting account along with the name of the site that you’d like to transfer.

A: Customer privacy is one of our prime responsibilities – this is why, both our payment page and our CP login page are protected with enterprise–class SSL certificates. We employ safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect the details that we acquire on the web. And we have a detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which describes the types of information that we collect.

A: While we transfer your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. After the migration is over, we will make certain that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your content is not compromised prior to telling you that the transfer is completed. Then we’ll tell you how to move the domain name to your hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS records.

A: No. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we won’t require anything. We’ll never get in touch with your hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

A: We can transfer your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform on condition that we can obtain access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we’re unable to transfer are those based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
